Well I keep getting screwed over by my job, week after week! Yesterday I thought that after school I would be working, but much to my surprise when I went to look at my schedule (only posted for the very next day) I saw that "CALL" was writen next to my name. I was confused, so I asked my employer what it ment. She told me that I needed to call my work around 5pm to see if a girl was going to come in or not to work. (Apparentlly she had a no-call, no-show) This pissed me off b/c I had only worked for 7hrs this week! For my Co-Op class I have to work 10hrs Monday-Friday, then 5hrs more on the weekend. Last week I only had 12hrs, and the week before that my employer tried to give me only 6hrs, but I had to remind her that she signed a paper stating that she had to give me my 15hrs a week. So she fixed the schedule the next day. I was pissed when I called my work at 4:50pm and the manager told me to call after 5pm to see if this girl would show up. So I waited until 10 after 5pm and called. The little bitch had came in (For the first time) and I didn't get my hours that I needed and am required by LAW to have! So I called my Co-Op teacher (she gave us all of her numbers so that we could contact her when necessary) to tell her about what my employer was doing to me. Since my Co-Op teacher lives in Lumberton she told me that she would go up there at 10am on Saturday (today) to talk to My employer about shorting me my hours. I am too pissed off to even think about anything else, b/c since I started working there I have done all of the most shitiest jobs, and still retained a smile on my face! I never called in, unless you count going up to work 28hrs before I had to go into work to give my employer a Doctors note for the weekend (was too sick to work) and even explained what I had and why I could not come in (Based on what the doctor had told me). Now realize this, I had asked off for that weekend, and didn't get it off. Then the following wednesday I asked off for a thursday 2 weeks from then b/c of a leadership meeting I had to attend. (I normally have thursdays off, and I would be back in town alittle before the time I would have to come into work) Then I went to talk to my employer about this and she told me that if I typically have thursdays off then I would have it off again. So I am stuck I have to go to work at 4pm and stay till close which is normally 8:30, maybe 9:00pm if I am lucky (shity hours still). I love my job, but I hate my employer she is the biggest bitch I every came across, except for my mom!
